EVERY TUESDAY IN DECEMBER, WE ARE HONORED TO SHARE OUR NEWSLETTER FOR #GIVINGTUESDAY, SHOWCASING A PERSONAL TESTIMONY FROM A STAFF MEMBER, BOARD MEMBER, BIG, LITTLE, OR CORPORATE SUPPORTER ABOUT WAYS TO GIVE TO BBBS UPSTATE

#GivingTuesday: Featured Partner

Dominick Ferraro, Owner, All League Baseball

I consider being a corporate supporter of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Upstate a privilege.

As a child, I had to figure out my potential at a young age and grow up quicker than expected. BBBS Upstate provides an opportunity to empower the youth in our community to overcome the emotional and physical struggles and pains one experiences through childhood.

There are numerous ways to give to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Upstate. In my case, this would be by partnering with BBBS Upstate on fundraisers through our events or by giving charitable donations. Financial giving is not the only way to give to BBBS. Community-based and school-based mentoring are great ways to give as well. A few hours a month can change a child’s life for the greater good. It is like having that one coach who has a positive impact on you for the rest of your life.
